To keep the secret, I went undercover. Dressed in a classic steward’s uniform, I welcomed them aboard in Cannigione. As we set sail, I played the part—preparing the deck and attending to the boat. Jasmin had no idea that the "crew member" handing her a drink was actually there to document the biggest moment of her life.

Cruising the Granite Coast of La Maddalena

We left the harbor of Cannigione and navigated toward the wilder side of the La Maddalena archipelago. Instead of heading for the crowded beaches, our captain dropped anchor beneath a breathtaking cliff coast.

The contrast was stunning: the deep turquoise of the Sardinian sea meeting the jagged, wind-sculpted granite walls. The cliffs provided a natural amphitheater of privacy, shielding the couple from the wind and other boats. It was raw, cinematic, and incredibly romantic.

The Reveal: Champagne and "Yes"

As the sun began to dip behind the cliffs, casting a golden glow over the rocks, I made my move. Under the guise of serving the sunset aperitif, I swapped my steward duties for my camera.

Nate led Jasmin to the bow of the boat. Against the backdrop of the towering cliffs and the shimmering Mediterranean, he dropped to one knee. The surprise was total. The "steward" was now capturing every tear and every laugh.
